My friend Maria Guerra has a wonderful ability to see stories in my collages. Here’s what she saw in this one:

A woman had many plans for her life.
(The stairs represent her goals)
She planted a seed along with here dreams.
The plant grew but her dreams were left behind.

Now she sits at the bottom of the stairs.
She is so sad that she turned into a blue bird.

The pursuit of happiness is the chase of a lifetime!
It is never too late to become what I might have been.
